Welcome to Ades Autos.

 

Ade's Autos provides car servicing and maintenance at your home or place of work at your convenience. 
 

 

 

It allows you to decide where and when, and remain in control of costs. Work will be at a set price per vehicle for regular servicing. One off repair / maintenance items, such as  Cam Belt renewal or Alternators and Exhausts for example, will be per job, quoted in advance, with no hourly rates or call out charges.  If it takes an hour longer than expected, then it takes an hour longer. But you don't pay for that hour because I have promised to deliver a job for a set price. 

 

My experience has been gained at College and in several garages and until recently, as an employee of Green Flag providing roadside assistance to motorists in distress, so a drop of rain or a frosty morning won't hold me back! 

 

This is a new venture for me and I will gain my reputation by providing a convenient service which I am prepared to guarantee and stand by.

Terms and conditions :-
 

Ades Autos will not be held liable for loss or damage caused due to parts failure or fitment or any seized,corroded, rusted or unserviceable part, however Ades Autos will carry out any work required and replace parts fitted by Ades Autos or damaged during attempted removal of parts in the repair process at customers expense and as and when agreed by the customer.

 

 As we do not own the vehicle we are unable to determine the condition of any parts that may need to be removed and as such can not be held liable for damage to any or all parts, and provided that the customer contacts us in the first instance we would be happy to carry out any work.

 

Any work carried out by another garage without our prior approval will not be covered by us in any way of labour or parts fitted. Only cost of Original part when within manufacturers warranty period.

 

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Ades Autos reserve the right to update the warranty terms and conditions from time to time. These warranty terms and conditions were lasted updated on 24th July 2014.

 

PERIOD OF WARRANTY
 

 Parts are covered against manufacturing defects for a period of  1 year from the invoice date unless otherwise stated .

Vehicles used for commercial purposes – such as taxis or driving instruction vehicles –will be covered for a maximum of 1 year from the invoice date.

 

COVERAGE

The warranty covers manufacturing defects to the parts supplied and defective workmanship only. Customers own parts are not covered.

Problems caused by external factors – e.g. oil leaking onto a clutch or a collision- are not covered under the terms of the warranty.

Problems related to parts not changed – e.g. failure of external clutch hydraulic components after a clutch replacement – are not covered under the terms of the warranty.

Problems related to wear and tear – e.g. excessive clutch wear due to aggressive or poor driving style – are not covered under the terms of warranty

Problems related to vehicle modifications – are not covered under the terms of the warranty

Problems caused by a third party removing parts in not covered under the terms of warranty

 

MAKING A CLAIM

Upon experiencing symptoms which may indicate a problem, the customer should contact Ades Autos Immediately. Continuing to use the vehicle after symptoms present themselves may cause further damage to the vehicle and will invalidate the warranty

Once we have been contacted with regards to a warranty claim, an inspection will be arranged to establish the cause of the symptoms 

Under no circumstances will work by another garage or mechanic be reimbursed without express prior agreement.

 

INSPECTION

The vehicle will be inspected at no cost to the customer to establish the cause of the problem

In the event that the problem is covered by the warranty, the problem will be rectified at no cost to the customer

In the event that the problem is not covered by the warranty, the customer will be advised of the repair cost and given the option to rectify the problem with us,

In the event that the initial inspection is inconclusive, further diagnostics may be required to establish the cause of the problem. In the event that the problem is not covered by the warranty, the customer will be liable for the cost of this further inspection. In this case the potential costs will be outlined to the customer in advance and permission 

sought to continue with any further inspection.

 

LIMITATIONS

The warranty is only valid for the person stated on the original invoice, and is non-transferable

In the event that parts are replaced under warranty, the warranty period is not extended.

 

EXCLUSIONS

Car Radio Codes – The car battery will often need to be disconnected during the course of repairs.
On vehicles requiring a car radio code, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they have access to the radio code prior to 
work being carried out, 

 

Drive Shaft Seals – Drive shaft seals occasionally leak after being re-fitted following a clutch replacement. Should this occur, a replacement seal will need to be fitted

Dual Mass Flywheel – If the Dual Mass Flywheel is not changed during a clutch replacement, no warranty is given or implied as to the condition of the dual mass flywheel, or potential effects on the clutch.
